Tarquin's Turn to be Featured
Tarquin is my ram lamb. He is a real sweety, but he's growing up and getting more assertive (ie he butts you!)
He is so soft when in a good mood that he will stand by me while I rub his nose. But I am not complacent. He is, after all, a ram.
There has been great debate as to whether he has done his job this season. No one saw anything, but it does look a bit as though three of the four ewes may be in lamb.
There's a bit of a virtual book running on the outcome!
So, here he is. The most beautiful ram anyone ever had.

LOL, he's sooo cute! Love the patches around his eyes!
I know. He was like a baby panda when he was a lamb. There is a name for this kind of marking on Shetlands, but I'm ashamed to say I haven't learnt it yet.
Lovely to see you here!
Oooo isn't he gorgeous!
Photo's not bad either ;) x
What a cutie!
He's so cute and cuddly looking!
Yes. He looks cute. And most of the time he behaves cute. But just sometimes he doesn't. He's soon not going to be a lamb any more and then we'll have to be very careful!!
Wow, he is just adorable.
I hope you are recovering from all the Stumbling! Good luck with Lambing! I did it once many years ago in Tewkesbury when I was small. I hope they all go smoothly. Where in Wales are you? I've been tracing my ancestry for years and both sides of my family have Welsh roots. We vist Wales a lot and I drag my poor family around graveyards and churches where my ancestors came from. Wish I lived there though!
Lesley.
He's adorable!! Is he a jacob? Our sheep are 3/4 shetland, 1/4 jacob but we will be acquiring 2-4 jacob ewes in about a month or so. whatever the breed, he is extremely charming!
Hello infinite comos. No, he's not Jacob. He is a Shetland. My dad used to keep Jacobs, but they are too big for me to handle.
