You've got hardy birds. My hens set one toe out on the snow and go right back inside.

Yep. We breed 'em tough round here! Lol. But I have heard other people say their ducks don't like the snow. And I did have to rescue one of my little hens last year. It was one of the Golden Sebrights and the snow was up to her wings. She was chattering at me and I realised she was floundering. She seemed very grateful when I picked her up and popped her in the hen house. I've watched those little ones since then!
